About Elastic Path

Who are Elastic Path? or What is the Elastic Path? Well, the official blurb says:

"Elastic Path Software pioneered flexible ecommerce, giving you maximum control over your rapidly evolving online store. Thrive in today's increasingly competitive and fully integrated, multi-channel marketplace by delivering a simply sophisticated and captivating customer experience."

But really, Elastic Path is an entreprenuerial driven, fast-paced company, too old to be a start-up and too young to be a veteran. The staff are diligent and easy-going and prone to huddling intently during meetings. We play bocce on sunny days, qalk quickly on rainy days, take turns loading the official dishwasher, say "good morning" when grumpy, and spend most of the time "clackety-clacking" away on keyboards -making the software and performing related tasks required to tell the world about it, sell it, bill it, order staplers and lock up at the end of the day.

The product Elastic Path, fits a middle space between the corporate behemoths with their cadre of per diem fortified consultants, and the often well-intentioned but under-powered "bootstrap" shopping carts. To paraphrase the story of the three bears, Elastic Path isn't too big or too small, Elastic Path is juuuuusssst right (but then again, I am on the payroll ;-)).

Elastic Path is headquartered in Vancouver BC (which isn't near as nice as everyone says so don't come here with your millions of dollars to start a high-tech company of your own). Actually, Vancouver is brilliant and a bustling hot bed of innovation and activity. Come visit.
